hey guys, just got a copy of win 7, its shiny love it, but i need a way to improve the delay from my bluetooth headset, in games the gap realy shows in cut scenes and stuff, ive moved the bluetooth reciver closer BY THE POWER OF LONGER CABLES!!! but still the problem stays, my pc can run these games no prob so its not a processing problem, im just using the os bluetooth client so if theres a better program or tweaks id be happy to hear
thanks

Same problem! using SBT500 sharper image headset, unknown usb bluetooth dongle. im not sure where the delay comes from, dongle, headset, or win7.

i found my problem a few weeks back after a reinstall of windows, before i installed avast! it was so smooth running, then when i spotted avast! wasn't on my system and then i installed it things when wrong, now if i want to use it i need avast to stop all its real time searching then its fine. I know its risky but I don't mind as it effects my sound card in the same way and i need it off for recording. Just do a scan every so often,

i used avast! a wile back. i liked it but it was a resource hog as far as virus scanners go, but i do have to say it stooped every atempt at infection. i've been using security essentials lately. i might remove my Ethernet cable to try with it disabled, but i mostly wanted to use it for MW2 at night when everybody is sleeping. i hear some people have latency issues with usb headsets as well. i wonder if theirs a way to bump up priority on the process that handles sending audio through Usb/BT. to bad nobody makes a sound card with dedicated Usb/BT output.
