Initial drivers needed for build 6956

OK so my d/l of 6956 is a few minutes away from completion so I'm getting together all the drivers I will need for when I install it.

So far I have:

• Motherboard Drivers (incl sound and ethernet)
• Wireless network driver
• graphics driver
• TV card driver
• Wireless keyboard and mouse driver

Anybody think of anything I've missed off?

Also I was planning on using the latest 32bit Vista drivers and use them. Is this the right way to go about it?

Hello Eggyuk,

That sounds about right if that is all of your devices. If one of them does not install, then you may need to use Compatibilily Mode with Vista selected. Although you might see how the default drivers that come with Windows 7 work for you at first to minimize any potential confilcts from Vista drivers. With that said, I have not had any problems with using Vista drivers yet. A clean install is the best method to use.

Specifically, make sure you have chipset drivers - although relatively new HW will have most of the stuff already installed....
