Input language/display

Hi,

forgive my naivety but recently Installed dual operating systems and is the main.

I have to spanish keyboard to type, and the input language is english BUT.......

I made a faux pas installing windows, having the input langauge as spanish as now on installing things it comes up in spanish!

can I correct things now and make a note for future installations as to what my wishes are...........

1. english language
2. spanish or english keyboard

at the moment the keyboards change without cause and its doing my head in when typing!!

can I correct my mistakes for the installation language from spanish to english menus??

Hello Steve,

These would be two different settings as you found out. One for "Display Language" (everything), and the other "keyboard input language". The tutorials below can help show you how to change both to what you wanted.

for the display language I am unable to do anything, I have not got the "choose display language" tab available to me!

am buying english only keyboard!

spanish one has expired

so am at a loss

No problem. From the "note" under step 2.

If you do not see a Choose a display language option or the language that you want, then this means that you will need to install the language pack that you want to change the display language to first.
