Solved installation and windows update

Hello Everyone, I just reinstalled windows, after having programs freezing or not responding after November rollup update. I am just assuming it was this, but I do not really know. I have previously installed Kb3133977, and looking around everywhere, it is being said that it is bad for asus pcs, and I have uninstalled it, but the machine now is taking forever to startup with black screen after starting windows
logo. I am thinking to wipe it again, but could someone please tell me which update section to click,
when installing from windows dvd, and what updates I should install first. With this install I have ended
up with updates back to 2011, and the usual offerings of windows 10 updates.IE11 is constantly refusing
to open, so I may have to forget about reinstalling it.I would really appreciate help, so everything is not
botched up again.

This update caused a little mess on asus boards
After installing Microsoft Update KB3133977 for Windows 7, some users may encounter a "Secure Boot Violation" , which makes the system fail to boot into the operating system.

I also this month started just manually installing the security only updates instead of the wretched "quality" rollups

which says:

"The security fixes that are listed in the "Summary" section are included in this this Security Monthly Quality Rollup 3197868 are are also included in the November 2016 Security Only Quality Update 3197867. Installing either update installs the security fixes that are listed here. This Security Monthly Quality Rollup also includes improvements and fixes from previous monthly rollups."

So, for those needing only security updates, get 3197867,

Thank you again Thrashzone. There is quite a lot of updates I will check, and uninstall if they are on the
list on seven forums, and thank you for supplying the security only patch. I do not really want to install
windows7 again, if I can avoid it. Will let you know how it goes.
