hi guys,
new here. i tried installing win 7 pro upgrade from student discount onto a seperate 1tb drive. i have vista premium and was doing a dual boot. files would load but after that i would get this error: winload.exe error. tried installing it alone onto the 1tb seagate drive, removing the vista drive but still the same error. remove every peripheral and 2 stick of ram but still the same error. system is intel q6600 on an asus p5ke-wifi with 4 gig of 8500 ocz ram.
also tried repairing my vista installation but the same error appears.
any help will greatly be appreciated.
