Solved Installed 8GB memory card and have issues.

Glad you have it solved. For future reference, when you say "memory card" you are actually referring to something completely different than RAM. I read your title and thought you were trying to get an 8 GB memory card working...meaning the memory card that is used in digital cameras. Just an FYI for the future.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention, next time I'm seeking advise/help on this forum, I willl be paying more attention to the proper noumuncalture.

Hate the touchpad & "Easy Software Manager" This is the best laptop machine I have ever owned, super fast performance at 1/2 the cost for a compatable Mac.
