Installed w/out key?

This might be a stupid question, but I installed W7 Build 7100 w/ OUT the key, I just skipped it and proceeded to install it.


Also, that counterfeit software message came up, but I didn't install anything that would change anything w/ the core w7 files.
So, yeah, everything runs fine.

Hi Handycam.....

if you skipped activation upon install, your OS is on a ''30 day'' timer....you'll need to activate it before then.

once activated build 7100 will run until august 2010.

You can still get RC keys from Microsoft to register your copy... I dont know why the nag screen should be showing up though.... you might want to get a new key and reinstall then register it with the new key!

Go to Control Panel > System > Change Product Key

enter vaild RC key & activate

Trivia: it expires June 1, 2010. Winver shows March 1, 2010, at the time it begins to shut down every two hours.
