Installing motherboard in case question

Hi all...well I finaly got my new parts to build my new pc but iam already a little stuck. lol

I purchased a Gigabyte G1M-ESL2 Micro ATX mobo and this micro ATX case: Envizage LC727-03 2 Bay Black Micro ATX PC Case 500W | Envizage | Buy Online Now!

After opening up the case and taking the sides off I noticed there are no standoffs...now the case has two bars that run horizontal across the inside of the case with little raised bumps with screw holes and I am wondering if these are build in standoffs? Do I just screw the mobo to this and is it safe? i though the whole idea of standoffs were to ground the mobo? I am really scared now just in case i blow the thing up after putting it all togther lol

Was there a plastic baggie with any additional items, screws, standoffs, power cord, etc with the case ? If you gently place the MB into the case, How does the back panel connectiors line up ?

I had a small bag with some screws and a plastic push/clip looking thing. I lined the mobo up with the back panel connectors and it fits pefectly on these lumps so it looks like i dont need standoffs. Do i need any washers or anything to go between the mobo and these lumps? thanks

Most of the cases I've had for the past few years used hexagonal brass standoff posts. They didn't need any additional washers.

I don't know about your new case. If the bosses (sounds more elegant than "lumps", don't you think?) have a small enough contact area on the board, that should be OK. By contact area, I mean the metalized ring around the mounting hole; it's OK to tie that to ground (or earth, as they say in the UK). I can't tell whether that's the case, from the rather low-res pictures at the link you provided.

Are the bumps raised enough to clear the bottom of the case & the MB ?

Looks like I dont need standoffs for this type of case as they are build with one kind of form in mind. I think I will try it out with out the standoffs and hope i dont blow things up.

Ill be back in a few days...if everything is still working.lol
