Installing New Graphics Card Driver / Admin Errors

Used the given installer disc and tried downloading the latest driver installer as well.

I'm using the windows 7 Home Built-in admin account tried right clicking and running the installer as admin....
Tried using a registry cleaner and disabling anti-virus.
Tried restarting a few times...
Tried if I can do a manual install of the driver through device manager on the built-in account... (In Device Manager the card shows as VGA compatible rather then a video adapter I believe...)

Installs are oddly long (30 mins +) when compared to games I have gigiabites in size... and sometimes the installer freezes.


Any suggestions on what to try next?
