My question is, is the updates that can be downloaded as iso file from microsoft site contain updates only for the current month or for all previous months so far?

I've been downloading the Windows Updates' ISOs, starting with 2016, "down" to 2010 now, and my impression is that each ISO is for that particular month/year. I don't remember the exact MS web site I use at home, I'm at work. Can post it later if you want it.
