Hello. Long story short, I wanna install W7 on my Pentium Gold G6400 system. I dunno how can I slip intel (and which ones to get) USB3 drivers, on the ISO image. I have no PS/2 keyboard/mouse nor a optical disc drive.
I found some complicated stuff online, but most requiere a windows OS, I have Linux atm (Fedora).
I can fire up a VM though and get to some windows OS.
Please,is there someone that can guide me,step by step,on how can I make / install ? And if there is any chance I could get a intel graphics driver working for UHD 610? (I know officialy ,is none).

Thank you very much .

The update ( .msu file ) and driver at the bottom of all my posts is for usb3.
https://www.sevenforums.com/attachm...oting-new-pc-usb-3-0-ports-usb3_win7_2021.zip

The update ( windows6.0-kb2864202-x64.msu file ) must be integrated first, then after that the drivers.

Dism++ can be used to do it

In windows it can be done by mounting the installation media.

For boot.wim mount image 2

For Install.wim select the image of the Edition (Home, Professional, etc ) that you want

Then add the update to the mounted image

then add the drivers to the mounted image

then save the image

then unmount the image.

DSIM++1.jpg

Create an EMPTY folder.

DSIM++1A.jpg

Give it a name - I called it MOUNT

DSIM++1B.jpg

Run Dism++

DSIM++2.jpg

Click File > Mount Image

DSIM++3.jpg

DSIM++4.jpg

Browse to the wim file

DSIM++5.jpg

Select the image in the dropdown. For boot.wim select Image 2.

For Install wim select your Edition ( e.g. Home Premium or Professional )

Browse to the mount folder

After it has mounted Click "Open Session"

Ok,did it. after adding them, I then made a bootable ISO again with Imgburn, I wrote it with Rufus ( Screenshot - 0ef40060cf42173ed8c77a1f81bb59dc - Gyazo ) in GPT partitioning scheme (my BIOS doesnt allow me to enable CSM, if I dont have a dedicated graphics!) , and it boots, loads the Windows 7 animated logo, and then...complete freeze .

A hard reset is needed after that.

Did that a few times.

Currently, Win-Raid has some bigger issues to overcome, before thinking about these "details" (wish they were details but anyway...). Meaning, the transition of the forum software and DB to a format which will allow migration and future control. Our current plan/discussion involves that as a first step as well, so we need some time to have a cleaner picture of what the near future will look like for this forum. To answer your question more directly, it will probably be a merger of sorts, we'll see when we know what we're dealing with.

...To sum up, the current situation/plan is vastly better than last week's future prospects. So we need to let it play out. Sit tight and if we need some help from our users during this process/plan, we'll let you know.

The update ( .msu file ) and driver at the bottom of all my posts is for usb3.
https://www.sevenforums.com/attachm...oting-new-pc-usb-3-0-ports-usb3_win7_2021.zip

The update ( windows6.0-kb2864202-x64.msu file ) must be integrated first, then after that the drivers.

Dism++ can be used to do it

In windows it can be done by mounting the installation media boot.wim file image 2
Then add the update to the mounted image
then add the drivers to the mounted image
then save the image
then unmount the image.

Do the same with whatever your image number is in install.wim

You can try the biostar graphics drivers - they work perfectly for my uhd630, maybe they will suport your uhd610 as well.

need driver for intel uhd620

Yo! I just tried this on my Dell 3880 and it worked! However, the updates are an issue though. So, I installed these updates with NTLite for the WIM, and Windows 7 gets to the desktop, but if I reboot, the updates fail, and then the whole thing's unbootable! Anyone know why this problem is?

Probably easier to run simplix for the updates https://update7.simplix.info/UpdatePack7R2.exe

Or update the installation media first

Actually ignore that. However does it work offline?

Okay NEVER MIND that, I just remembered to use it in the OS, I need the updates installed beforehand, sooo... I'm going to try your tool

Hi, so I tried your tool and made it to 7's desktop. I went and installed SHA2 updates, but then 7 became unbootable again. The screen would glitch at the top right but then it'd auto reboot. I also tried integrating the SHA2 updates to the modded WIM, as well as another option in DISM++, but now there's a startup error - to be specific, error code 0xc000014c for \Windows\system32\config\system. I'll attach the full error below, but do you understand why I'm getting this error?
