Solved instead of the folder opening, the libraries window pops up

My Problem is when I click on a folder,instead of the folder opening, the libraries window pops up

Nowbefore we can help we do need to know what is in your machine soplease do this System Info - See Your System Specs

oreither enter the specs of your system in your forum profile the specswill appear when we click on that little box bottom left of the postscreen it is for me the preferable option as it is easy. As you mayappreciate it is very hard when you don’t know what one is workingwith for example a diesel or petrol engine.

Hi erikespiloy, Another thing you can try

Right click on start orb

Click on Windows Explorer

Click organize up the top

Folder and search options

View

Make sure restore previous folder windows at logon is not checked.

It appears you do not have SP-1 installed.
I suggest updating Windows 7 including SP-1.

Hmm slipped by me too and Erik mate the drive that ?DEEZER is on I would be running some tests on it use this please http://www.seagate.com/au/en/support/downloads/seatools/seatools-win-master/ in fact it would be a good idea to run the test on all drives.

Yep glad it is fixed mate and yes Brink is something of a genius in my book.

If you want something else that he ahs put out this will improve the performance and efficiency of the machine - though the choice is yours of course.

Itis my bible when installing an OS on my machines and also when I amfixing friends and family machines too.

Nowif you go through it slowly you will find lots of tweaks and they areall really thoroughly done by the authour Brink a fellow who is in mymind brilliant and if you need to ask questions he is just the mostobliging person around.

Theother thing is that you may lose some of the "bling" suchas transparency (you don't have to I find it unnecessary) and all thetweaks are reversible.

Ifyou do get stuck just post back in that tutorial and you will gethelp. Another bonus using this tutorial is that it helps you findyour way around your machine and Windows 7!

Justone tip I would say you start with is do this Registry - Backup and Restore - Windows 7 Help Forums do this and it will save you a lot of grief if you are ever doingthings in the registry and even if you don't it is a good back up tohave if your system ever gets corrupted.
