I have read or observed all the information on installing the graphics card. Instructions say to change the bios to disregard the internal video. I do not know how to get into the bios and what to do when I get there. Are there step-by-step instructions?

it can depend greatly on the manufacturer and model of motherboard.
you need to post that information.
otherwise best i can tell you is after you press the power button to turn your computer on, it's typically the delete key, or the F2 key you press repeatedly until it enters the bios where you can make changes.

be aware that if you make the wrong changes in the bios you can cause big problems!

depending on your make/model of computer, there's probably a youtube vid or one close enough to describe things.
