i already bought a new asus A52J..

the processor is i5-450M..

i already deleted the intel control center..

can anyone help me??

how 2 download the software back..

i search all the intel but i just found the intel desktop control center..
im using a notebook not a desktop..

And do you have Windows 7 64bit

Is this the program you need? Intel(R)_Management_Engine_Interface

The Intel "Control Center" Software comes normally with the "Intel Matrix Storage Manager" Or the "Intel Rapid Storage Technology"...most of the time you'll not need it as it display only some basics "Infos" but no parameters.

If you would like to get it again, reinstall your Intel Matrix Storage Manager and check the box "Install Control Center" during the process.

Someone here did the same thing on a Toshiba laptop,

and got it back by doing a system restore to just before uninstalling the Intel Control Center.

What you are referring to would delete everything and return the computer to the way it was when you bought it.

That isn't a problem, you just re-install the AV after running System Restore (and anything else that may have been installed from after the restore point used).

Stormy, I think he is referring to help with this ^^^^ posted by NoN

But, we can help you do the system restore if you want to try that. you should be able to re-install the AV. I would hate to think you would have to pay for it again or the AV's tech support wouldn't have this as a normal troubleshooting issue.

in the link there is a Readme file. Look through that first.

Unless what he is talking about is a laptop equivalent of this,

Intel® Desktop Control Center

which if that is what it is, I can't find much of anything about it anywhere. Also makes it that if that is what it is then either a System Restore back to the restore point just before it was uninstalled, or a complete restore using the system image (or disk if lucky enough to get one) that came with the laptop to get it back to the way it left Asus.

Another option assuming the laptop came with a driver/utility disk, would be to search it and hope this program is on it.

Here are the specs and available download from Asus for the laptop in question,

Looking at the list of everything there the only one that stands out as possibly being what is being asked about is the "Intel(R)_Management_Engine_Interface" under Others.

But I dont think its the program he needs if NoN is correct.

and The Desktop control Center is the only one that he could find as well. but NoN said that it is within this other program: Intel Matrix Storage Management

Hi, I've been looking for you at Asus Site...they do have the "Intel Matrix Storage Manager" for you...and the computer you listed.

But you can get it here aswell from the Intel Site, "Intel Rapid Storage Technology ":
(Only the name is changed but the technology is the same)

1) Choose your Operating System
2) Select a Download Type
3) Scroll down and have a look at "Intel Rapid Storage Technology ": 3/23/2010, 9.6.0.1014, Latest, Drivers.

Don't Choose the F6 Install!

During the install check the box "Control Center"

i got 1 more questionn..y my kaspersky antivirus internet security can't make a full scan to my computer..

my window will hang when it scan the system file...

Check in Task Manager first to see if it does load all the CPU...

Right click, Task Bar=>Task Manager=>Performance...Might be the AV engine taking all the ressources.

In your AV if you do have an option to low the CPU process during the full scan, check that box.

when im doing the full scan, my window will hang n restart suddenly... =.=..

Does only when the AV is running that system hang?

Try to load another app and see if it's hang the same.
