Intel g4560 kabylake on windows 7 64 bit

Is it stable? No crash?

Ive read the news that kabylake cpu will only support windows 10.

I want to install it on windows 7 only for diskless cafe because my software doenst support windows 10 yet.

I think the only true way to find out is to install 7 on the particular hardware that you buy.

Kaby Lake is no better then Sky Lake, so why not go with a Z170 if you want to install 7.

Well im not using the igpu on the cpu.

I will not buy z series mobo becuase its expensive and im planning to buy 20 set for the business.

Its for internet cafe business.

Skylake pentium has no hyperthreading. I like the kabylake pentium G4560 because it has hyperthreading more likely its a core i3 with lower clockspeed.

Sorry to ask, but it doesn't make sense the computers you're assembling for a internet cafe business.
- Unless for games, internal graphics are very good.
- Win 7 cost more than Win 10.
- If you buy 20 computers from Dell, HP or Lenovo, it will probably cost less than buying all parts, assembling and installing.

Anyway, build one computer and test it with win 7. To install win 7 you'll need to load some drivers into the win 7 installation disk. Asus, Gigabyte, MSI has applications to do it.

But there may be no IGP drivers for W7 with a Kaby Lake, so he wants to use a 1050, I posted plenty of links about driver issues with W7 and Kaby Lake.

And installing W7 on the gear he plans to use is exactly what I told him to try.

Chubalz, you want to use a particular motherboard and a particular Kaby Lake, we have no idea if what you want to do will work or not.

Why do you even need hyper threading ? People will be using these PC`s to browse the internet correct ?

I`d be more worried about your network.

Mega, we have many competitors. Competition needs good hardware specs. Thats why im using gtx 1050.

Sory but you dont have a good idea about internet cafe setup.

Dell dekstop is a separate cpu case and monitor it uses space unlike Viewpaker which is a monitor that is already a cumputer case saves space for the table. I hop u got my point.

The motherboard is the cheapest here and its gygabyte.

If using a dedicated graphic's cards it should and you are gtx 1050 although 2gb's is't all that much now days as far as gpu's go
The bugs were reported using onboard graphic's

Yes, I doubt that Intel or motherboard manufacturers will offer any sort of support for the configuration if there is a problem.

Win 7 on Kabylake platform

Microsoft has announced that they will not support anything less than Win 10 on the Kabylake chip.
Support for Win7 and 8.1 has ceased on that platform.
The O/S's will still load up and run, but you will be constantly presented with nag boxes that state you are running an unsupported O/S on your hardware.
Windows update will also now fail to download, and install the newest security and bug fixes on your rig.
The update action will present you with a cryptic message that basically says "sorry fool, buy Win 10"
They originally said the same for the Skylake chip, but have since retracted that.
They will support Win 7, and 8.1 on the Skylake chip until EOL for both of the OS's on commercially built, and homebuilt P/C's.
I just went through this dance with a new Skylake homebuild that I thought was going to be a doorstop, until M/S made the "policy clarification" (real meaning "retract foot from mouth because of user outrage") announcement.

Microsoft is not delivering updates to Kaby Lake machines - not supported. Sky Lake or less, but MS is artificially making it necessary to go to Win10 for Kaby Lake.

kaby lake i7700k here, z270 motherboard, M.2 NVMe boot drive, win7pro x64. WSUS offline update works fine as of 5 minutes ago, all drivers stable, intel hd630 triple-monitor onboard graphics is awesome, no MS nags of any kind, zero problems. I've never gotten support from MS ever, for anything, so not having official support means nothing imo. Will move to Win10 if/when it becomes necessary, but right now we're not even close to that.

G4560 KabyLake works with Windows 7 32 and 64 Bit

I have tested the Windows 7 32 and 64 bit, the windows is working fine but the graphics drivers will not work. ..... Its only work with Windows 10 64 bits. so you need to buy Windows 10 64 bit if you want to play games with HD 610 intel graphics. Microsoft will not be give any driver updates for windows 7 or 8.1. so windows 10 is only option.

Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 knows if you're running a kaby lake system. It will stop the windows updates and advise you to upgrade to Windows 10.

No drivers for 7 and 8.1 were published for kaby lake.
