Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver? A huge 37.1 GB!??!?

Ah... lol... ok, that would be large.

Too large. I'm wondering if they are actually taking up that much space though.
I doubt it... did you catch my edit? Adobe Reader, a 46MB DL, is reporting 700MB. His CS5 is reporting 2.5GB's whereas my wife's CS4 is only 1.5. My guess is that if he expands the Unintall menu everything is going to be incorrect.

That's alright, nothing to be embarrassed about, one thing though you listed your cpu specs in the hard drive spot, you can fix that later.

OK, since you have a 250 gb hard drive, how much free space do you have?

Do you see anything listed in that graph showing 37 gb ? I don't.

The pagefile.SYS seems really big for over 2GB+? that's worrying also.

194 free on a 250 gb drive is fine, I think this is all just a glitch in how windows is reporting it.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about clearing space like you were saying in your original post, that does not make windows run faster.

Controlling your start up programs is a big help, this tutorial will be interesting reading for you too,

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/11728-optimize-windows-7-a.html

Don't play with the registry, don't mess with services or try a bunch of useless tweaks because windows 7 doesn't need to be tweaked, it is a lean well designed OS.

If you have any questions just ask.

Alright first of all, a BIG thanks to the administrator :)

Guys, I'm facing the same problem. The worst part is... I don't understand anything after I run that WinDirStat -_-.

37.1 GB is such a large space. I see it written in the 'Add/Remove Programs' list, although I don't see anything big in my C drive.

Only if you want to, it is not "completely loading up your c drive", I wouldn't worry about it.

Look at the size of "Intel" listing towards the top of your WinDirStat screenshot, it's not even close to that.

Look at this post http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/...elerator-driver-huge-37-1-gb.html#post1439770

If you do the same you'll see it's not that big.

Okay I just uninstalled the driver and I don't feel like I'm actually using Windows 7 anymore. The way windows open, the taskbar displays, etc. are not in the way they used to be. How can I install another driver? Any link?

PS: I tried installing one for Windows 7 and an error message is displayed, "Your computer does not meet the minimum requirement to install this software"? What the heck :/
