Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for 945 Chipset

Needed: Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for 945 Chipset-Based Intel Desktop Boards

My Device Manager does not show any drivers as missing but I get a very low graphics score on the Windows Index Experience; it is 2.0.
I think that this may have something to do with the "Media Graphics Accelerator Driver" which will not install ("OS not supported" when using setup). I tried the install for Vista (No.7) from this page:-

I've read posts here and elsewhere that describe migrating drivers with a driver backup util from Vista and pulling them into W7 via Device Manager but I don't have a Vista installation to be able to do that.

I'd like to have a WIE of 3 or more in order to run Aero but my WIE figures are 3.2/4.6/2.0 (graphics)/3.0/5.9. and I can't see that low base-rate of 2.0 disappearing unless I can install the Graphics Media Accelerator (Intel replied to my query with the standard "not our policy to support future technology etc. etc". (ha ha! nice one Intel)).

Can anyone help solve this problem or point me in the right direction please? Thanks.

Additional Info:
I have tried manually installing the Vista driver (igdlh.inf). It installs but the WIE re-assessment terminates before completion and displays an error message to say that it could not complete because the assessment was taking too long (ie timeout).

Hi thepcguy, Download and install this small program, it seems to be good with solving a few problems for the intel drivers / chipset etc Radarsync just follow the instructions and see if it helps find the missing drivers for you, hope it helps.

Hi rflair,
I can't believe I was dumb enough to have posted without saying but I'm on 32bit W7. Looks interesting tho. Where did you find that? I didn't see it on the Intel site. Maybe the source might have 32bit ones too.
