My computer OCCASIONALLY flickers (then hangs until I restart PC) and distorted pixels show up along with the error "Intel HD Graphics for Windows 8(R) has crashed but has now recovered". Weird enough, when I start my computer on safe mode everything is A-ok.

I already used DDU to uninstall and reinstall the Graphics Driver but to no avail.

Side Question : What resources does the onboard GPU use? Might that be the problem?

Motherboard : ASUS Z97M - Plus
Intel (R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz

None. I even did a clean format of my whole PC.
I uninstalled the Display Driver and everything works fine now even w/o Safe Mode but the problem is I need the driver to play my Games.

It shares it Resources with the CPU and Ram ... I do not know of any Tests you could do with the Graphics as it is On-Board

Chipset + Graphic drivers update did nothing, sadly.
I'm starting to have doubts with my RAM since I also have this BSOD issue. Care to check?

I'm gonna have a new Graphics Card tomorrow but I still want to know if the RAM might have something to do with it.

Yes and it made 5 passes but I still have high doubts about it since I can't think of any more reasons on why I'm having this problem.
