I have been having issues with my wireless adapter (Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N6150). it has been a few weeks that this problem has been occurring. The adapter will all of a sudden disappear. Initially I would just scan for hardware changes in my device manager and that would do the trick but now it does not. So there are days I start my computer and the wireless adapter is no where to be found. Troubleshooting does not solve the problem. Also I browsed through the internet and i saw that people who were having this issue they would disable there 802.11n Mode that helped for a few days but it has started to fail again. Now for the past 2 weeks also I have had three crashes, sometimes by restarting the computer the wireless adapter would appear again and so on three separate occasions I tried restarting the computer but it failed to shutdown and I got the Blue screen of death. (it said driver power state failure)
Does anyone have any information as to what I can do to fix this problem. Can anyone please explain what is wrong with my laptop? PLease any help is appreciated.
