Intel® PRO Network Connections Driver

. When i was installing the network connection driver in windows 7, it did not allow me to install the driver. And Intel i not release new driver for windows 7. My desktop board is DP965LT

Have you tried installing the driver in safe mode (F8)?? If it isnt a win 7 driver you can use a vista driver as long as you install it in compatibility mode. to do that all you need to do is right click the install and click properties>compatibility>check vista


Let us know if that doesnt help

I use compatibility mode to install the driver, but the windows does not allow me to install.

Alan Welcome to SevenForums. Did you look here for a driver? I see some mention of 7 drivers for the board that you listed. Good luck to you.

I don't see where he states whether he has 32 or 64-bit version, but if you choose Windows 7 x64, you don't get those drivers in the link you provided.

Also Windows 7 will install the LAN drivers for you. It did for me.



Also I just tried to install the Intel LAN drivers for my board and Windows gave me a "these don't apply to your system" message and quit the install. Also looking for LAN drivers for my board on Intel's website don't reveal any Windows 7 x64-bit drivers as well.

Anyway It's not an issue for me since the Microsoft supplied ones work without issue.
