Dell Inspiron 14 3421
Intel i3 processor
4GB RAM

I had upgraded my laptop from Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. All the USB ports worked fine for a few days. Then suddenly, the laptop went off while playing the game Thief. (This usually happens when the laptop heats up too much, not a big deal.)

When I turned on the laptop, the two USB 3.0 ports stopped working. There was no power in either of the USB 3.0 ports. I checked this with a mini USB fan.

I went to the device manager and found a yellow triangle before Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller.
When I double clicked on it, in the device status box, it showed "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

I thought it was a problem with Windows 10 and degraded the OS to Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit and installed and updated all drivers, hoping it would help. But still the same problem exists with the USB 3.0 port.

Please Help!!
