Interconnecting network devices - Help

Hi all,

I have a problem in connecting the network devices at my work. Here is the old setup which worked,
DSL Modem -> Wifi Router (Dlink - DIR-615) -> Switch/Laptops(Wireless) -> Desktops

So, from the switch, desktop users can go online and from wifi, laptops users can go online wireless.

Now, we have a hardware firewall box(UTM) which needs to be connected.

I have set it up like this now,

DSL Modem -> UTM box -> Dlink -> Switch/Laptops(Wireless) -> Desktops.

So, desktop and laptop users both can go online filtered from firewall.

Now the issue.

We have a public IP. So, the dsl modem as been given a IP 0.1
The public IP is configured in the firewall box and it as a IP 0.250
The wifi router is having a IP 0.251

But what is the source or WAN IP for the wifi router?

If I have to give the IP of the firewall, then what will be the gateway IP? because, both IP will be 0.250

I tried enabling DHCP in the firewall box, but the wifi router doesnt get any IP.

Please help.

Honestly you lost me after the UTM firewall box, I'm not sure why you would need another firewall besides the one built into the Dlink router? You would definately need to disable DHCP on one or the other.

The WAN IP should be your own IP which you can see by clicking on the link below.

Thanks for chipping in pal. We need the utm box as it has all proxy and website block rules created. This box as dhcp enabled so as to provide a IP to the wifi router. But it doesnt. The WAN IP is given in the utm box. Due to this, the wifi router is left with no IP.

More info. Dsl modem is in bridge mode, utm in dhcp, wifi router with no dhcp to discourage anybody trying to conn to our networ anonymously.
