When I am visiting a few Forums - Websites etc., I am having to left click links and shortcuts twice. The first time I click a link/shortcut Firefox seems to get lost along the way, a dot up beside the tab/forum/website logo just continues to go from L to R for approx. 1 minute. Then it just goes back to where the tab originally was, if I then click the link/shortcut again, it works. The same merry-go-round works when you click the back button on the mouse.

I have run Firefox in troubleshooting mode, still get the same result. I have tried using both Opera & Edge, same result. I have tried using my wife's PC... same result.

It has been suggested to me that it could be the IP address for the Server in my modem/router, I am not comfortable with making changes within the modem/router, a Netcomm Wireless AF18ACV connected via Ethernet.

Can anybody suggest or actually know what the problem maybe?

A network issue shouldn't do any of that. That doesn't sound right.

What dot?

Hi

Firefox does log problems, but as i dont use it can only tell you how to get there
hit the settings option, 3 lines, then from the dropdown select Web developer- tools

Have you changed any settings via about:config

The DOTS mean "working on it" -- F22 same as the circle dots you get on MS

Found the problem!
It was my ISP, they had me on CGNAT, once I went into my account and turned it OFF, everything was back to normal with Firefox and the websites I was having problems with.
