Hi
I've been trying to fix this PC for a friend remotely. He started having BSODs about 1 month ago. They occur every few days.
I have ran CCleaner, Adw Cleaner and Malwarebytes all found and cleaned low level PUP and Adware but no viruses. The PC is now runing much faster but still blue screening.
I have uploaded the minidump files to OSR Analyser and all report a similar error:
The instruction at "0x%08lx" referenced memory at "0x%08lx". The memory could not be "%s".
I have ran CHKDSK on both the C and E drive with no errrors. Seatools generic test reports an error on the WD Elements external hard drive but WDDIAG says the disk is OK.
SFC /SCANNOW reports no violations.
I'm running out of ideas so help would be appreciated.
