Hello,

I've got a custom built machine and I'm intermittently receiving a 0x50 BSOD.

It lists AFD.SYS, Ntoskrnl.sys and dxgmmsl.sys randomly.

I've fully re installed windows and updated my BIOS/Drivers to the latest versions on the respective manufacturers websites to no avail.

I've also tried using Windows' "Verifier" program to use only signed drivers and it did nothing for me.

Any ideas?

Thanks gentlemen.

Hi Zephyranthes.

The display driver is failing here.
Code:
fffff880`0a2884b8 fffff880`0442c345Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\atikmpag.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for atikmpag.sys
[COLOR=Red]*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmpag.sys[/COLOR]
 atikmpag+0x6345
And it is old.
Code:
fffff880`04426000 fffff880`04487000 atikmpag T (no symbols)
    Loaded symbol image file: atikmpag.sys
    Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\atikmpag.sys

Uninstall your installed version of the display driver.

Then clean up any possible leftover.

Then install version 13.9 WHQL only.

Not suggesting to go to the latest, as it is kinda problematic.

But the extensive failure is from the part of ESET.
Code:
fffff880`02343278 fffff880`047361e3Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\eamonm.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for eamonm.sys
[COLOR=Red]*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for eamonm.sys[/COLOR]
 eamonm+0x281e3
Description here: Driver Reference Table - eamonm.sys

Also, again ......
Code:
fffff880`02343388 fffff880`010ae495Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\ehdrv.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for ehdrv.sys
[COLOR=Red]*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for ehdrv.sys[/COLOR]

In this situation, my suggestion would be to uninstall ESET. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one; for a safety reason as the installed antivirus failed.

Let us know the results.

Thanks for the reply!

I've just uninstalled Nod32 and uninstalled/updated my video driver.

The BSOD is completely intermittent so I will post back with results after some time.
