Intermittent BSOD's playing various games.

Hello folks.

I had just written a great wall of text message and tried opening a new tab hit Ctrl + R instead so I lost everything. It was very detailed and all. I'll try to sum it up.

Bought a GeForce 9800 GT
Started getting nasty BSOD's like BAD_POOL_HEADER and PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
(Meanwhile had 2 major HD failures. Bought another HD).
Fresh windows install, new life ahead of me.
Errors continued.
Checked on the 'net, people said such errors were RAM related.
Bought new RAM sticks.
BSOD's persisted, now giving no reasons at all or a new one:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Took the PC to a technician.
After 5 days of stress testing, no BSODs.
(He didn't even charged, might have taken me for a nutshell)
He told me that maybe my PSU and Voltage Stabilizer couldn't handle the new video card.
So bought new ones.

Been having a nice couple of weeks, ultimately BSOD free.
... and then ...
yesterday. It returned.

I don't know what to do. The only hardware pieces I haven't changed is Motherboard and Processor (really).

I'm attaching my SF diagnostics file as instructed.

If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Maybe it seems like overreacting but it's insane, you can't do anything without the fear of getting a BSOD.

One more piece of info. At first the 9800GT was the primary suspect, but then I switched to my older video card, preparing the geforce for a RMA request, but BSOD's continued.

So as weird as it seems, I don't suppose the 9800GT alone explains the blue screens.

Hello.

It's me again reporting one more BSOD just happened.
Once again I was playing Battlefield 3.
WhoCrashed says it's kernel related (don't know what it means).

Could it be a BF3 bug?

Two other Stop Codes for BSODs included:

• STOP 0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
• STOP 0x000000D1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Run these programs:

Run Memtest86+ for least 7-8 passes, and preferably overnight as it can take a while to fully complete.

Test each RAM stick individually, if an error is found then move the same RAM stick into the next DIMM slot and test again, if errors are found for the same RAM stick in every available slot then you have a faulty RAM module. On the other hand, if no errors are found in the next slot or the other slots for the same RAM module, then you have a faulty DIMM slot.

Test each RAM stick and every motherboard DIMM slot available.

Thanks for the reply.

I just returned from Driver Verifier, at first things were fine for some 40 minutes, then my PC got pretty much useless. BSOD after BSOD, myriad of reasons from system file corruption to memory management and pfn list... not all of them generated memory dumps though.

I disabled it in safe mode, as I couldn't even log in properly.

As explained on first post, I took the PC to a technician who ran several rounds of memtest and found nothing (according to himself). But I'm planinng to let it take 10 rounds tonight (it's 21:40 in here, I'll let it running)

Memtest found no errors after 7 passes and way deep into the 8th.

No drivers were found from the dumps, could you please run:

If any corrupted or missing files are found, then can you run the System File Checker again, to make sure all the files have been replaced or repaired.

What AV suite do you have?

Have you checked and installed all the latest Important and Optional Windows Updates?
