Hi, This just started this morning,i use firefox as my default browser.
Whats happening is when i open firefox the google page appears then
when i click say Amazon in my toolbar it will say "no server found" then
click it again and it opens.I can then say close and open it about four
times no problem then the 5th time will show "no server found".
This also happens on IE11.
I've ran various malware tools like jrt, adclear,MBAM pro and Avast IS
and all show no threats.
Also this glitch happens when opening Windows live mail intermittently.
Thanks for any help.

Some things you can try.

Try a Clean Boot.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...ation-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html

Disable AV or MBAM real time protection.

Reinstall AV.

Run troubleshooter on Network.

Disable add-ons and toolbars.

Reset browser.

Try a different computer on you Internet connection.

Hi johnsmith45jock,Thanks for your help with this problem,i have tried virtually everything on your list with no joy.
But while i was waiting for your reply i thought i'd try one more thing which was to do a dns/flush.
I'm not sure but i think it might have fixed it.This is the trouble with an intermittent problem has it or
has'nt it fixed it.
The glitch has'nt happened for quite a few hours now,but i'll get back after a couple of days to verify
that it is indeed fixed to mark the thread solved.
Here's the dns/flush instructions How to flush the DNS Cache in Windows 7 / Vista ? :: SG FAQ

Just getting back to confirm the "intermittent internet break"has not returned after two
days,so i think it's safe to say that the flush/dns operation did indeed resolve the problem.
Thanks to John for your help:D
