Internet Explorer 9, I already have it.

Every time I log off Hotmail with Google Chrome MSN wants me to upgrade to Explorer9.
I already have both 32 and 64 bit versions of Explorer 9, just happen to be using Chrome.
It's kind of dumb isn't it?

Are you sure it's not just an advertisement? Almost every time I sign out of Yahoo I get a pop-up at the bottom of the screen informing me that Yahoo recommends I upgrade to IE9 ... even though I have it.

It is seeing that you are using a different browser and is recommending MS's latest browser. It does not look at your system to see what else is installed.
