internet explorer will not open no matter what

Everything I click on no matter what says internet explorer has stopped working. I tried everything and its frustrating. Its my sons laptop and I have no idea what he did.

go to Command Prompt and run <sfc /scannow> and see if that helps

Also, check the Event Viewer in the Control Panel and post a screen shot for us. Did you do a scan with your antivirus ?

What version of IE ?

May also want to uninstall IE from Windows Installed Updates and reinstall or reset IE (Internet Options/Advanced/Reset)


Maybe your son has the laptop "Parent-Proofed"
