Hello, I don't do any other gaming, but my Internet Spades does not connect, and if I go to Zone.com and try to play spades I cannot log in anymore. Seems to be a recent development. I saw another thread saying about a registry work around with a 4, 3, or 2. I tried that but it didn't work. Any simple repairs for this, or is this Microsoft just trying to force me to Windows 10. Still using Windows 7 Home, 64 bit. Thank you for your time

Try a System Restore to a date before the issue.

If I do that, won't the computer then want to update again, and I end up with the same problem?

update: I did a Microsoft update, got two updates, now my internet spades that came with the pc is now working. Going to zone.com is not working still. Maybe Microsoft is trying to solve these problems.

More info -- The problem seems to be with my wireless connected laptop. My Ethernet connected desktop is working properly. It is also Windows 7 64 bit. I connected the laptop by Ethernet to the router and it still did not connect properly to zone.com Both are running Microsoft Security Essentials. And my laptop does seem to drop off its connection now and then on the internet spades game.

Did you check the DNS settings (compare both PCs, if same don't bother changing)?
Do you lose Internet connection all together or just to the game?
Which browser are you using? Tried with another browser yet?

BY the way sometimes the update just gets messed up, but re-installing after a System Restore may fix it. If still cause issues best way to hide the update instead.

I did a system restore, then tested it and it worked properly, then I did the important updates and tested it, and all worked properly, then I updated the optional updates and all worked properly. So I guess that's a done deal, thank you. Richard

I have found that internet spades stops working then starts working by itself. (maybe once or twice a month - sometimes for a few hours, occasionally for days)
