Internet not loading sites sometimes

Whenever I visit some sites, it keeps on a white screen and loads forever before giving me a "opps google could't load this page" and etc.. It happens quite often on sites like facebook, reddit and so on. I'm using chrome. I'm not sure if its just chrome. I tried loading some websites with firefox and chrome to see what happens. And seems firefox loads it faster while chrome sometimes gives me the "opps google could't load this page".

I've read around ,that it could be a dns issue?

Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi ringo14,

Try Command prompt and type in ipconfig /flushdns and press enter on your keyboard and see if it makes any difference.
It should tell you that the dns cache has been flushed.
In your Google chrome, Go to Options>under hood > and uncheck use dns prefecting to improve page load performance.

Try some other browser and check if the issue persist in those browsers as well.

Open pages in an incognito window.

If pages open normally in an incognito window, this may indicate an issue with any extensions that you may have installed or with your browsing data, both of which are temporarily disabled when you are incognito. Try the following solutions:

Close all Google Chrome windows by clicking the Chrome menu and selecting Exit Then restart the browser.
Clear your cookies, cache and browsing history
Try disabling all your extensions, exit or quit Chrome, then restart. If the page displays correctly, re-enable the extensions one by one to identify which extension isn't behaving properly.

I've already done a flush dns and hasn't changed much. I've tried disabling newly installed extensions on chrome and same issue. I tried incognito mode, no difference. I think it's something to do with my internet connection. my download speeds are fine , getting 4mbs on my downloads , videos even load fine. Just websites now and then. I have to like refresh a good 2-3 times before the site loads, google search sometimes just gives me a blank page.
