I have an employee who is using a VPN to connect to our server. He is approximately 150 miles away from us. He has been accessing the same server for a few years now and is all of a sudden having a lot of issues with internet speeds.
When he connects to the VPN his internet speeds drop dramatically, but when he disconnects his speeds skyrocket to where they should be. This all started happening yesterday, and as far as I can tell, no malware/spyware/virus', no new software, no downloads, hasn't clicked on any pop ups, it's the same computer that wasn't having these issues just 2 days prior.
Any thoughts on why it would all of a sudden slow down when connected via VPN?
