Hello,

Last week I moved out of house and started to live in a studenthouse. But now I've got a problem with the internet of this studenthouse.

When I first tried to connected to the Wifi network of the studenthouse I got this screen where you have to choose whether it is a public/work/private network. I choose a public network (don't ask me why, I don't know it either). I had a connection, but no internet. The network somehow can't identify me as a user.

About two days ago I started to do some research and the problem was the decission I made the first time I wanted to connect. I could have picked either work or private, but absolutely not the public option.

So, now (still no internet on laptop) I have two options how I can try to establish a connection.

1: I wanted to reset my network history so I can connect to that network again and the work/public/private screen comes up again. But I don't know where I should to that. When I go to control panel > network amd sharing centre > manage wireless networks, the network is not there.

2: Manage to change the public network into a private/work network. If I go to Control panel > network and sharing centre there is a 'view your active networks'. If I am connected to the network it says: "Unidemtified network; public network". De phblic network section is not clickable.

Does anyone know if I'm searching at the right place and how I could fix this?

Thank you in advanced!!
Henk
