iomega external ssd disk unknown offline, not initialized after format

Well, I really messed this one up...

I have an iomega ssd model iomssdu part #31926500. Has been working great up until I intentionally chose an option to remove encryption on the device which formatted it. After format, unplugged from usb. From that point when repluged, nonfunctional.

It is detected by disk management as unknown and not initialized. The size of the volume is not recognized. It is also listed as offline. When I attempt to initialize it says disk not ready.

It is detected by DISKPART as online with 0 capacity. I ran the clean function with no noticeable effect. This is maxing out my knowledge.

Am interested in using disk simply for picture backup if it is salvageable.

By the way, there is no data on the disk that I need (obviously, I formatted it). I chose to format in the first place because I am switching to a w10 computer and I couldn't get the volume to display in "This PC". It worked fine on W7.

If it was my ssd I would use mini partition tool and wipe the drive/

Then I would use Windows 7 to format the drive and give it a partition "letter"

With Mini tool Partition, delete all partitions and create new. Format as NTFS if it will be used only under Windows and Linux or exFat to be also used on Mac.
