Ip help please thanks

I was talking to a guy for a little while via skype and he said after a few months he hacked me , i reformated my pc , and wanted to reoprt him for what he said im not sure who to , what i found was a skype resolver web site where i enetered in his skype id name and found his ip address he even told me was rom australia but from the skype resolver he was from usa
Skype resolver is this accurate and can i maybe press charges if he hacked me?. somehow?.

The hacker may be using a VPN, or he was just telling you a lie. It's most likely the second one if he is a wannabe hacker, trying to connect via teamviewer, sending batches that says delete C:\Windows\System32(not gonna put the proper command as i don't want to get banned). But if he is a real hacker he uses his homemade tools to attack and most likely uses a VPN.
