i'm not sure how to get to my routers set up page as its wireless and not connected to the computor. i tried that commandbutnothing happened.
You can edit your previous post to add stuff.
The mtu command has been known to fix this problem and the command should be working for you provided that you were using an elevated command prompt.

To access your router, you just need to type the default gateway into the URL of your browser in order to gain access into your router, the gateway address is 192.168.1.1 If you haven't reset your router using the Reset button you should do so now.
It would also be best if you typed in the DNS server IP's into the routers settings, try using Google's DNS for now at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 , then remove the DNS server IP's from the IPv4 properties of this connection.
After resetting the router it's required that you type back in the security password, SSID etc. make sure those match the ones on your wireless profile.
If you can go into Add-Remove programs in the Control Panel then uninstall Adobe Flash player and also uninstall Msoft Silver Light if you have it installed, these two programs can sometimes cause this problem.
You should also flush the DNS cache, link below.
