New system, new batch of BSOD's. Just replaced a failing MB with a new Gigabyte EP45-UD3R board, latest bios (F11), new G-Skill RAM (4GB) and a fresh install of Win 7 x64.

Ran fine for first hour or so, then the BSOD's started. Can someone look at these dump files and clue me in?

Uninstall this application from the system: "GSvr.exe" (unnecessary motherboard utility)

and also you have

"Memory corruption"

You can search many of the crash dump threads here for how to set your specific RAM module settings in the bios. (Vdimm and timings.)

If after doing that the following does not help, run Memtest86+ overnight to test.

Google these drivers to find out what they are, their importance and if there are updates. Update or uninstall them from the system based on that info:

ctac32k ctac32k.sys Wed Jul 02 04:38:22 2008 <<try to install Daniel K. driver instead
x10ufx2 x10ufx2.sys Thu Nov 30 18:18:51 2006 << important to update this if available

Do these things and you'll have a well-functioning machine. Also, install the latest chipset drivers from motherboard manufacturer's site.

Thanks for the fast response. I think I have the memory issue resolved. I had already adjusted the vDimm to 2.0, went ahead and bumped it to 2.1, took a bit of digging to find the tRC setting. MB had it at 68, needed to be 48. I have not seen anymore memory errors as of last night.

GSvr uninstalled. I think that was the power saving utitility.

ctac32 - I looked at the Daniel K. site and did some reading. hesitant to load it as some people have reported problems with the x-Fi cards like I have. I may sit on this one a bit and see what happens.

x10ufx2 - this one caught me by surprise. It the reciever for the ATI remote I havent used in over a year. I never installed the ATI tuner card in this computer and I didnt see the reciever connected to a USB port on the back of my monitor.

I will load some more apps tonight and see how it handles a little system load with Photoshop and maybe a round of COD MW2.

Thanks!
