Is build 7232 better than 7100?

Well personally i see no difference between 7232 to write home about. I have posted a few messages saying what I have noticed from 7229 to 7232. Personally just stick with 7100 or 7229 until RTM.

I think 7232 is better I just upgraded from 7137.

My graphics and gaming graphics scores both went up from 6.7 in 7137 to 7.3 in 7232 with my ATI card. So they did change something even if it was just the test. :)

If i can get my hands on 7229 or 7232, can I run the setup and choose the upgrade option? or would I need to do a complete clean install? thanks

For my sitch, 7232 is way better than 7100. It fixed a lot of small compatibility painpoints and has significantly better network recognition and behavior.

Yes you can upgrade. I have had good results with upgrades, although my current workstation was a clean install due to a change in motherboard.
