What stood out to me was the readings on the +12v.
Is that correct?

If you're referring to the 6.38V in rmw020's screen shot, missing or mis-calibrated sensor. The computer wouldn't even turn on if it was correct.

If that sensor is messed up why not the temp sensor?

Probably find there is no rhyme or reason as to why one sensor works and another doesn't, especially when dealing with budget boards. The manufacturers cut corners in the strangest of places to save a few pennies here in there.

I would imagine that some manufacturers do not go out of there way to build some value mobos with sensors which do work, perhaps they make them out of cheaper goods and might not last as long etc. Thats about it, cheaper mobos will not have as many features and abilities like dearer mobos (like SLI etc).

An older program does not always mean it is going to read wrong either. Anyway heres an updated screenshot with a newer CPUID HWMONITOR.
