I'm currently using IDT audio on my laptop, and I'm wondering if I could change the audio to Realtek. I also noticed Realtek PCIE Card Reader and Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver in the Programs and Features list. Why do I have Realtek products when I have IDT audio?
Can I change from IDT to Realtek?
I have an HP Pavilion dv6-6c35dx. If there's anything else you need to know, let me know. Thanks :)

No, the IDT chip is soldered to the motherboard, and cannot be changed.
The manufacturer has many options available to them when they design the computer. (such as network chip, sound chip, and others)

The IDT will/should work just fine for your system.
