Is it possible to install Windows 7 on a Windows 8 computer?

Floppy is not used any longer. You want to Write Disk Image. It shows how in UltraISO Software To Create Bootable USB Flash Drive:

How are you preparing the usb?Are you using diskpart?If so then you can directly use write in ultraiso.

Try wiping the flash stick first using Diskpart Clean All Command to zero the drive and overwrite boot code.

Then in UltraISO use the Format button followed by the Write button.

Then make the changes so you have EFI\Boot\bootx64.efi and EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD

Ill try the clean all command should I go ahead and create the partition on the flash drive or stop after clean all and let ultra iso do the rest?

When you say make the changes should I create the boot folder in the efi folder and move the file that I rename to bootx64.efi to that folder, if so ok. But how do I change the efi\microsoft\boot\bcd? That is the file I have been having issues with.

efi\microsoft\boot\bcd should remain as it is if it appears correctly in that path.

Last question I hope should the write method be USB-ZIP or USB-HDD+

I've always used the latter and have not dug into the Help to find out what the others are for - just used the one which was default.

It says the write was successful. But when I click on the flash drive to modify the file snd folder, the flash drive is empty. The space has been used though because its a 16gb flashdrive and it now says its only 11.7GB
