Hi, been awhile again since i have been on here lol. But i have a laptop with an hdmi output to connect that into a monitor or another lcd/led hdtv as an external monitor. I would like to connect my xbox 360 to it using an hdmi cable to play some games. The thing is, i am pretty sure it is possible using a program or whatever is there available. So i thought if anyone on these forums would know something about that. I know it isnt probably possible, but its worth a shot to know about it. I would like to play my xbox 360 on my laptop :D
Thanks in advance.:geek:

Let me get htis straight. Your computer has HDMI OUTPUT, and you want to use the xbox to play games on the comptuer, correct? I am not a gamer so useless, but how does having output on the compuuter allow you to input to the computer?

I would second this.

Just for the heck of it, I have my XBox 360 hooked into my monitor through my unused VGA port, so with the push of a button on the bottom of the screen, I can change to XBox or PC. :D
If you use a second monitor with your laptop, you could get a cheap KVM switch and use that.

Yep, that's your answer. You can't expect software to suddenly make a port bi-directional, if it wasn't designed to be one in the first place. If you saw someone playing an XBOX on their laptop, they likely had it connected to a TV Tuner card.
