Is it safe to Uninstall .Net framework 4.0 kb982670?

Hello so last night a installed .NET framework 4.0 and I would like to uninstall it due to reasons causing a bit of problem. My question is it safe to remove it and will this remove .NET framework 3.5 as well as previous versions.

2nd question) Does .NET framework actually affect these applications such as adobe flash player,Web browsers(Chrome,Firefox)

Just uninstall "microsoft .NET framework client profile" form installed programs and reboot. It will NOT remove .NET 3.5.
What problem do you get?

My laptop was pretty quiet and after Installing .NET framework it would random make strange "Pop" sound or I'm guessing it was causing a conflict since I was using youtube on firefox but Not 100% certain.

Update: After I uninstalled .NET framework 4.0 client I noticed on event viewer it states Intel Rapid Storage Technlology has stopped. I didn't know ISRT requires .NET framework 4.0 as before I installed 4.0 I can still run.

My question is why removing .NET framework 4.0 caused IRST to stop?

Does that mean I would require to re-install .NET framework 4.0, If yes then my windows update is not showing plus it showed I have previously installed framework 4.0 via windows update history. What should I do?

My other new issue was when I started up my laptop a even error displays something along the lines of "the intel(r) proset/wireless zero config service service terminated unexpectedly". I'm not sure if .NET frame is causing this as well

Download and install .NetFramework v4.5 (http://download.microsoft.com/downl..._common/netfx_ult/dotnetfx45_full_x86_x64.exe). This component is important since many applications use it these days.

What I have noticed is that the .netframework service running in the background is the source of all troubles. So, what I did is, launched services.msc (press Win+R and type that out) and set the startup type of the "Microsoft .NET Framework NGEN v4.0" service to "Disabled" (double click it, then select "disabled" from drop down list, then click OK). I have noticed that the apps requiring .netFW v4.0 work just fine even after disabling that pesky service. You may try doing this if you like.
