Is my Windows 7 Original or Cracked OEM?

I have a Dell Inspiron N4050 Laptop, it has OEM word in the Product ID, when i buy the laptop the seller say its from Singapore and Original, i try to update my windows after buying the laptop and after the first update i get notified by windows watermark(this copy of windows is not genuine or the... you might using the counterfeit....) after that i uninstalled the updates and everything seems ok, before the update there are cracked softwares in my laptop, microsoft might detect cracked softwares and nags you, now im installing the update without cracked softwares in my laptop and everthing seems allright, i even installed the KB971033 update that kills pirated windows, and validate my windows online it says genuine, i doubt my windows is original or not, i also use cmd trick in my cracked pc it says the license is genuine and licensed with the slmgr.vbs... command, does anyone know how to find out windows license status? is it activated by activator or the hacker getting smarter than microsoft to make it genuine? what happen if cracked windows gets validated on microsoft genuine validation?

As for running cracked programs, there is one that i know of that will turn a system non-genuine

I can see in the menu list along the top and to the right of Welcome, New Posts - no 'todays posts'.
Anyhow, when I first read your reply to black sparta, I got the impression the forum was checking that all posters were using a genuine version of MS7. You must mean that the poster can check by running MGADiag.exe. as advised.

Hi BlackSparta,

That reports coming back clean.
I can see no sign of any hack or exploit on it.

Further more looking at the original install date, Oct 2011, that ties in with when that computer was shipped.
As well as Home premium being installed, most non-genuine installs tend to be Ultimate and to a lesser degree Pro.

You should also have a COA sticker attached this will show
Dell Home Premium OEM, (or OA) and a back up key, dont post it.

Re your VBS script comment, the part of the report that shows changes to it is also clear
suspect you used it to rearm during the non-genuine phase, OEM installs can use this 3 times and there all used up. Another reason why a back-up COA is available.

ALL computers perform a mini genuine check EVERY time you boot up, and a major check every 90 days.
Validation checks are based on certain rules, and is automated, exploits achieve this by knowing how to answer these correctly, but they leave traces on the system which a people like me can spot

Thanks for your answer, I'm quite satisfied now, I'm also enable to update my windows, that proofs my windows is genuine, but why the product key on the sticker is different from the product key listed on MGDIAG? please explain!

Hi BlackSparta,

All OEM computers are shipped with 2 product keys.

The original one your seeing in the report
This was embedded by Dell when they built it.
ALL Dell W7 Home Premium computers are shipped with this product key
(different Oem's and versions have thier own, its part of the licence agreement they have with MS)

The key on the COA sticker is unique, and as i said earlier is for back-up purposes.
(also part of licencing agreement with MS)
