I just performed a clean install of Windows 7 from a DVD I had purchased. Then I proceeded to install updates, more than 200 of them, that took an entire day.
Not too long after I had purchased the DVD copy I had downloaded a backup copy from either the Microsoft site or a sister site hosting the file. This was a few years back though.
My question is this: Would the Windows 7 (in this case 7 Home Premium) online download include service packs and critical updates to a more current point in time, or is it the same as what's on my DVD?
And regardless, does any one have a valid link to the download site at present?
Thanks all
