Is there a way to get Outlook 2007 to open

So i set up outlook 2007, with my hotmail email adress.

When i go into Windows live Messanger it opens up to a web page.

Is there a way to get outlook to open just like Live Mail does when it is instailled.

No what im asking is. When i have Live Mailed instailed, i click the icon in Messanger and it will open live Mail.
i want that to happen with outlook
