is there a way to make the snipping tool open using the keyboard

the only way i can make the snipping tool open is using the start menu, but that doesnt work if im watching a video that takes up the entire screen because it also covers the start menu. so is there a way to make the snipping tool open using keyboard commands?

There is also a great tool you can download (but it will cost you), it's called SnagIt. It has a little magnifying glass right beside your cursor while taking a screen shot if you want to be precise (You can also use your arrow keys to move it). And you can always open it up by pressing 'PrtSc', because it runs in the background (without using any processing power).

snagit also has a pop out menu when you move your cursor over the one click area to the side of the desktop or the top depending on where you put it, there are frankly tons of little tweaks you can do with snagit,including adding your own watermark.
however there is a free tool also made by techsmith( the creators of snagit) called jing, i used it for a couple of years before i upgraded to snagit.

I've used SnagIt and I agree, it's a much more functionally rich utility. I think there's a free version, or there used to be. But at the very least a trial. If you like it, then the money is well spent.
