Solved Is there a way to sync files on my cptr to SkyDrive?

I'm new to this forum and also to SkyDrive. Hope I've picked the correct place to post this.

I've purchased and installed Microsoft Windows Professional + 2013. Also, somehow, I've installed a link to SkyDrive in the cloud. I have an Excel file that I want to share with others. The only way, so far, that I've been able to accomplish this is to transfer my file to the cloud and authorize sharing. I would rather have the file reside on my computer and a copy be synced with skydrive. Is there a way to do this?

Hello Ron, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if using the SkyDrive desktop app for this may work. It gives you a "C:\Users\(user-name)\SkyDrive" folder that is kept synced with your online SkyDrive. This will make it easy to just save files into this folder to be available on both your local PC and the online SkyDrive. In addition, it works great with Office 2013.
