Issue With a Picture and Windows Photo Viewer

I have SP1 installed, and somehow Windows Photo Viewer can't display this picture correctly, the picture is displayed as if it's compressed into a long horizontal line shape. (I get no problem with other viewers like Paint or IrfanView)

I attached the offending picture, FYI it's an album cover art, no explicit content.

here, i've fixed it for you. i simply opened it up in an image editor, and saved it again.

i'm not sure what causes it - i've noticed this on a few of my jpg's i've downloaded.

probably a problem in the original software that created it?
