Hopefully someone can help me with this, because I'm not sure what to do with it anymore.

This started last week when I was having an issue with Google Chrome. It would open and close tabs when I clicked on them, so I did a virus scan and removed it and everything was fine. Well, the virus came back, so I did the same thing, but it won't go away, and it's not effecting my mouse. Whenever I try to click and drag, it stops/sticks, and it does the same thing with my mouse pad, so I know it's not a low battery on my mouse. I have a Logitech M305 mouse, and my laptop is an Asus with Windows 7 64 bit and Nvidia GeForce G210M.

I hope someone can help me with this issue, because it's starting to drive me crazy! Thanks!

Hello sjd52613 and welcome to Seven Forums.

It sounds like the malware might not have been completely removed. Suggest you rescan again with two highly rated free products.

Malwarebytes

Windows Defender Offline

Post back with the reults and the names (if any) of malware that was found/removed.

Thanks marsmimar! I orignally did the scan with Malwarebytes, and the most recent scan said there isn't anything on my computer. I've also tried Avast, but it didn't come up with anything either. I'm currently installing Windows Defender Offline to see what that one comes up with.

If it isn't a virus, could it be an issue with the software?

I have no clue what happened, but everything is fine again. I downloaded WDO, but nothing about doing a scan popped up, so I rebooted my computer, and everything is normal now. If it happens again then I'll just do a system restore.

Thanks for your help guys!
